RESPITE

Respite services are available to families caring for children or adults with developmental disabilities in their home. Respite is intended to provide temporary relief to family members from their caregiving duties.

To be eligible for Tobosa’s adult services, a person must qualify for the Developmental Disabilities Waiver. To register for the Waiver, contact the Income Support Division at (575) 625-3000. General information about services available to people with developmental disabilities may be obtained from Tobosa or the New Mexico Department of Health Regional Office at  (575) 624-6100.
